we left the school around 7. it was a 3 hour journey on a bus. we arrived at phota around 10. they first split us up into 2 groups and then brought us to 2 different classrooms to play games called sheepdog and pass the animal. sheep dog was where there was where there was 6 in your group and you have 1 person as the Shepherd and 5 as the sheep and you have to guide the sheep into the pin and you can only use noises to guide them.
then they brought us around the park we first got to see the kitchen where all the animal food is kept and prepared then we went to see the giraffes and ostriches. as we made our way across the park we seen many different animals such as thetas and flamingos. we then stopped for food half way trough the tour in the parks restaurant.
we then finished off the tour with a speech about native Irish animals such as mink and the red fox.
we then went to a shopping center and got food.
